Please come to Chat with Claire on Wednesday, November 15th @ 8:45 am in the cafeteria.
The topic and focus of the Chat is on bias. Members of the Inclusion and Diversity committee Taina, Octavio and Shawn will be there to support and share some resources. They will also share a preview of some upcoming Parent Workshops. Share questions, concerns/topics to email@example.com. This will help us focus the conversation.
Our first K-5 scheduled parent / teacher conferences are this week.
Ø Evening Session Conference is Wednesday, November 15th 5:00pm-8:00pm.
Ø Half day afternoon conference is Thursday, November 16th 12:50-2:50. Students in K-5 are dismissed at 12:00.
This is an important opportunity for teachers and parents to review progress and together set individual goals. Teachers will discuss strengths, next steps, and provide information about what your child should be working towards as the second grading period starts. Your child’s progress report will be shared at the conference.
If you are unable to attend a conference, please contact Caren, our parent coordinator, at Caren@ps333.org and she will assist in scheduling a conference. Families have access to STARS progress report through NYC Schools Account. Caren can assist in getting STARS access as well.
Thank you Jason, dad to Levi, Zeke and Sam, who led an assembly on Cyber Safety for our 6,7 and 8th graders. All advisories came together and they were so engaged on how to be smart and mindful online.
From the Classroom
Thank you to Suzanne and Laurel for organizing and planning K-3 Town Hall! The theme was gratitude. Students from Laurel and Suzanne’s classes created gratitude quilts and a video answering the question what are you grateful for? The videos are posted on our website www.ps333.org under the media widget. Please take a look.
Pajama Day was a big success! Students K-8 participated in our spirit day. There are great pictures on our website.
