SLT Minutes and Next Meeting:

The March School Leadership Team (SLT) minutes are now posted online.  The team discussed input provided on cell phone policy. It was decided to maintain the current policy with no changes for the rest of the school year (see Claire's letter).    Darlene presented information on the State Assessment Testing for 3-8th graders, which begins April 14th and the protocols for families that wish to opt-out.  The SLT also is preparing for April workshops for parents and teachers called “How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk ” and a May event for families and middle school students on Navigating Social Media.  For the Social Media event, we are seeking an expert/facilitator who can lead a panel discussion.  Please if you’re interested or can recommend someone.

The April SLT meeting will include a vote to revise the by-laws; proposed revisions will be included in the April SLT Agenda which will be available by March 30th.  Meeting:  Wed, April 1stat 3:15 in Science Room.  All are welcome!
