Music Workshop: The Wonderful Story of the Trumpet Violin

concert

Enjoy with your children this didactic concert! The aim is for the kids to go on a fantastic journey through the different rhythms and melodies of dance music from Spain. Styles which have come from remote places from around the world are now part of the musical score of our land, one that has been enriched by the influence of different cultures and has so enriched our way of understanding and living music.
Waltzes, chotis (traditional dance music of Madrid), fox trot, pasodobles and other rhythms make up the repertoire of this amusing didactic concert, where students can discover an array of surprising instruments like the trumpet violin, the musical saw, the vibrandoneon or the ”camping chair flute”.
