MARCH 10th
Parent’s Association MEETING

Every year at our Live Auction (which will take place during our Celebrate MSC event on March 28th!), we make a special appeal to fund a targeted project. We are thrilled to announce our Fund-a-Cause for this year is MUSIC!

Claire has some wonderful ideas about how to incorporate music into our already amazing arts curriculum. Instrumental music! Chorus! A dedicated music room! How much she can do really depends on how much money we raise during the Fund-a-Cause paddle raise at the live auction.

Please join us at the March 10th PTA meeting to discuss the 2015 Fund-a-Cause: MUSIC PROGRAMS! If you can't make the meeting, you can always email the PTA at msc.copres@gmail.com or Claire at CLowenstein@schools.nyc.gov.

Tuesday, March 10th
8:45am in room 615

Hope to see you there!

EDIT*** GRADES 3 - 5:

HANDWORK WITH MADELENE & ELIZABETH

*** Knitting II will begin on

March 25th and end on May 6th. **
*

There will be no class on April 8th due to Spring Recess. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 3:15 – 4:45 in Room 303.

The focus will be on learning to read simple patterns involving both the knit and purl stitches. Students should already be proficient in the knit stitch.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in this class, please speak directly to Elizabeth (Room 317). Please note that we have a limited number of scholarships. If you are interested in your child receiving reduced tuition, please speak to Elizabeth prior to completing the enrollment form. In the interest of equity, we want to extend this courtesy to different students each cycle.
Additionally, enrollment is limited to ten students.
